Ok at first I gave this place an excellent review as I do my research always and go the extra mile. I have an older German shepherd that is not well , not friendly, has cancer, and going blind, we have only been treating him for the past three years for his blindness which is a rare deceased found mainly in pure breed shepherd s, we decided not to put him through the torment of removing his tumors as he just turned 1- and we did not want to put him through this distress as we did with our last shepherd. It’s costly and they suffer.
That being said I asked to see a new vet just for refills for a yearly prescription for his two medications for the cannas deceased. I was told the Doctor would need to see max , but yes he would write the script for his eye meds for the year.
They tried selling me on tests and treatment again I stated we just want his prescriptions filled for another year. The tech agreed , then the doc came in. They got us for rabies shots too since they could not find his rabies records.
When we got home I was going to phone in the prescription. I noticed it only being for 3 months.
Long story short, I called the doctor refused to talk to me the manager seemed to know the doctor would not do that. I asked that he ask again as it was the reason I went there instead of seeing my dogs specialist that write his scripts for a year . 24 hours later a receive a text saying no the doctor will need to see my dog in 3 months again. Regardless of his age his condition and his diagnosis.
They completely lied to us now they refuse to answer their phone. I do not recommend any pet doctor that outright lies just to make an extra buck. How discouraging and horrible of these people they care NOTHING FOR MY ANIMAL

I took my dog to an appointment for flea medicine. It was supposed to be valid for 1 year. After 11 months, my dog had fleas again. After the city reduced substitute teacher pay to below minimum wage, I was not able to afford to have electric services in my home any longer, let alone pay for pet meds, but I was offered an amazing deal from chewy.com. I ordered the meds that were originally prescribed and gave Chewy the vet info. Vetco rejected it. I called Vetco and they said my dog was due for an exam. I told them I can’t afford an appointment, pointing out the original prescription is still valid for another month. I reordered from Chewy. Again it was denied, saying I’m not a patient. I called the office and requested to speak to a supervisor. They said one would call me. I asked if it would be today, she said in the next few days or so. I waited , no call. I called everyday for weeks and no one ever answered the phone at Vetco ever again. I left messages everyday. My dog has been suffering for 2 months now with fleas, and it pains me to see her itching because of a negligent and greedy vet office who doesn’t care about her.

Hi, I just had an amazing person on the phone who took care of all my questions and doubts. Her name is Elisa, and that was the greatest experience I’ve ever had over the phone. She literally brightened my day. I’m very grateful to Vetco and to Elisa personally. You are the best!
