- WPW PaulNov 24, 20251.0God, I’m so sorry I called and asked questions about the wellness plan, and bothered the receptionist, as she was far too busy to answer any of my questions and was extremely dismissive, talked over me the entire two minutes I was on the phone. Acted like I couldn’t read what was online, and have her being in business my entire life I would never have imagined anybody would be that rude and dismissive! I realize she was more than likely busy with customers as they had just opened at 8 AM, but I’m not certain. I’m certain there must’ve been an entire waiting room of people there or she could’ve asked me to wait just a moment while she checked in a Customer or 10 and she would get back to me momentarily! I not actually sure I want to continue doing business with this place as I’ve only been there one time before and the veterinarian was extremely nice and pleasant, but this brief telephone call made me feel dehumanized by the time I got off the phone as if I, nor my money or pet was not worth her time.

Dr. Abby Mathew told me to have all teeth pulled on my one year old cat instead of trying to treat her first. She showed no kindness or compassion and just wanted to make money like a shady mechanic. Check out vca schaumburg instead. I will be filing BBB complaints to get out of these pet plans.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
