The guy at the front desk.was rude, o one was there and at first ignored my son, then he said he would be with him in a bit so my son waited. Staff was very cold and didnt seem like they enjoyed what they did. We have never experienced this with ither places, everyone usually seem to be griendly and love pets but not here. We will try another Petvet and hope its a better experience where we feel welcomed.

Entering the later years of my pets’ lives has been really hard having two senior dogs with ongoing health issues can feel overwhelming but this vet has given me so much comfort along the way. They make everything as affordable as possible, and I truly feel like they care about my dogs as much as I do. Both of my pups have had dental surgeries here, and every step of the process has been handled with patience, compassion, and clear communication. Prizila and Jackson have also been absolutely amazing every single visit. They always make me feel supported and treat my dogs with such kindness. Thank you, Vetco Elmhurst, for taking care of my babies all these years. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for us. 💛🐾
- SKSonya KorDec 1, 20252.0The receptionist acted as if she was bothered by me asking her basic questions,. The nurse seemed to be submissive of my concerns & pushy to buy products. I’ve already had an opinion from my primary vet & wanted a second opinion & after bringing him to petco all these random issues (I think they make up stuff) to make you feel worried and stressed about our pets. I won’t be bringing him back here to this location. I feel animals can sense bad vibes as well. My pet didn’t seem too calm coming here. I will be sticking with my primary as I don’t feel they’re all about money & they actually care about the best interest of my pet. No gimmicks no random diagnosis & no feeling pressured to buy a product. They even accused me of not brushing my pets teeth. I recently adopted him & I already was told by his primary about the issue. I assured them I do brush his teeth & they asked me if I brush with human toothpaste 🙄 I’m not a dummy. I love & treat my little guy like my son. If I declined a service they looked at me as if I was a bad pet parent. I don’t care about the looks because I wouldn’t let this location give my pet anything to begin with as I don’t feel they’re value me or my baby. It’s clearly about the money.
