- MMM M1 day ago5.0I had an amazing experience at Bowie Barker in the South Loop. Not only did they take great care of my Yorkipoo, Stormi, and leave her feeling and looking soft, clean, and adorable, but the team went above and beyond for me personally. After I dropped Stormi off, I realized I had accidentally left my phone in my Uber and panicked because I had no way to track it. The manager, Debbie, along with the new staff member she was training, stepped in immediately to help. Debbie let me use the store phone and even her own laptop so I could locate my device. She checked on me, made sure I had a warm and safe place to wait, and helped me monitor the location until the driver returned my phone. Her kindness and calmness meant everything in that moment. The grooming itself was excellent. Stormi came back happy, fresh, and still feeling soft days later. Amara, who did her haircut, and Sophie, who handled her bath, were both incredibly sweet, patient, and gentle with my baby girl. They even sent me an adorable picture of her during her wash. They truly did a wonderful job. I genuinely appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and real care the entire team showed toward both me and my pup. Debbie, Sophie, Amara, and the new team member whose name escapes me, thank you all for turning what could have been a stressful afternoon into a positive one. You have definitely earned our loyalty.

They were very warming and cordial upon our arrival and immediately showered our girl with love (especially since she can be anxious and wanted to bolt out the door). The location is great, customer service was amazing and the price is definitely worth it. Something I myself noticed is that even 3 days after her appointment she still smells clean! If anything I give Bowie Barker / South Loop a 10/10! We will be back. (They even send you a picture of your baby in the tub). 🥰

From the moment I walked in Debs was a delight and was very informative and helpful. Ashely, the groomer was also amazing and was very patient with Ozzie ( my 70lb Alaskan Malamute). Overall I was very impressed and pleased with the results and the overall experience!

She loves every single employee she sees and they love her back! I love getting picture updates throughout the process and that they have only one or two dogs total at a time so it’s a relaxed and calm environment (despite the chaos my dog brings). Highly recommend giving them a try.
