I have a dog with a crazy personality and definitely does not cooperate too well. The staff goes over and above to make sure his visit goes smoothly.

Our dog had been covered under a Banfield policy since he was two months old. Over the past twelve years, he was seen by several veterinarians at this location; however, many of them appeared to have limited experience. When our dog was about one year old, he frequently scratched his eyes and head, often until the area bled. At that time, the veterinarian was unable to identify the cause but suspected heartworm and recommended multiple tests. After conducting our own research, my husband discovered that our dog’s symptoms were consistent with allergies. Over the years, various veterinarians prescribed different allergy medications, but it was we who requested Cytopoint injections for him. Recently, our dog began experiencing additional health issues. We brought him to Banfield twice within the past two weeks, but each time we received only general information and no clear diagnosis. Four days after the last visit, we had to take him to the emergency clinic. The veterinarians there determined that our dog had fluid accumulation in his abdomen, a heart murmur, possible heart failure, and several other complications. It is deeply concerning that none of the veterinarians at Banfield identified his heart murmur or any of these underlying conditions. Our dog passed away peacefully at the emergency clinic last night. This morning, I attempted to cancel our Banfield policy, but I was informed that we remain financially responsible for monthly payments until Spring of 2026.

The vets here do not know what they’re doing. Diagnosed my dog with 3-5 different types of allergies diseases all for them to be wrong. And falsely medicate my dog. Ended up causing more issues and charged me $1500 due to their lack of knowledge. Will be sending a lawsuit as soon as I have my paperwork in order. Do Not visit this Banfield.
