  We have been taking our little pup Marshal to Bowie Barker for 4 months now with their monthly membership. The staff has always been so nice, accommodating, and sweet not only to us but to Marshal as well. He recognizes the walk over and gets excited every time we go, and he gets a cute bandana with the season! The staff sends update photos while he’s getting his bath, which is always appreciated. 10/10 would recommend, so happy Bowie is in our neighborhood!

  Stay away! Brought my dog in for a bath and they said it would be an hour. My dog was stuck in their small crate for 2 and a half hours. I called them after an hour and 45 minutes concerned and there was no answer. They finally sent me a text after two hours that she would be ready in thirty minutes. I finally picked her up and she was distressed and upset.

  I have a rescue with some trust and anger management issues. So getting him groomed is always a bit of tricky thing. They were so welcoming and accommodating. I could tell they were the right place just from my emails to them alone. They were able to handle my boy and clean him up real good. They earned a returning customer.

  Bowie Barker is a wonderful place. Our rescues are new to them after several rough experiences at Krisers in Lincoln Park. They get our pups in and out and they truly care about the dogs. On our last visit they alerted us to a tumor that was being hidden by our dogs tail and his hair. We are beyond grateful for the discovery and for the love and care they give to all of dogs. Our dogs leave smelling clean and they look stunning after. It’s not an all day affair like other groomers. We appreciate well run the organization is and how much each groomer is professional, kind, and caring. We would recommend this company and location.
