The groomers are very caring and patient. The only complaint I have is that I wish they had a better set up for drop off and pick up. It a small area, you have your pet on a leash pulling and smelling while your trying to sign consent forms and answer questions, same for pick up. It would be nice to have a separate room to pick up and drop off, it gets crazy with other customers all in one area. I also think more benches outside of Dog Groomers while waiting.

I’m just writing this review now, but my cat had her spay surgery here in November 2021, and I just had to mention it now because every time I think about this situation it bothers me and I want other people with pets to be aware. She went in to get her spay surgery which was suppose to be a routine surgery, ofc I was nervous but I thought she would be in good hands because the banfield back in Chicago were amazing. She came back after her surgery and all was good until a day or few later my cat was not getting any better and was losing a lot of weight. I thought her cone on her was preventing her from eating comfortably, so I had took it off so she can eat some food but instead she went to her spay spot and punctured a hole with her fang and a bunch of pus leaked out. Like a lot. My poor baby, how much pain she was in because it was infected. I keep thinking of this moment because I everyday, twice a day, would clean her incision site and everything looked good. so it had to be that banfield did not do a good job of keeping the instruments clean and sterile. Her incision site where she was stitched up was also very messy and not clean work. My other cat go her spay surgery back at home (Chicago) and hers was so clean and well stitched and had no problem recovering. It really broke my heart when this happened and didn’t want to blame banfield but I’m certain that her spay surgery was just not good. Not to mention we dropped thousands of dollars on the kitten plan which had the surgery included. I took her back cause she had a hole with pus coming out and they had to let it drain and keep her there for a whole day. She was just left with a hole on her abdomen and had to have her cone on for way longer than expected until that hole closed naturally. Just gut feeling that this place is just not really good and very expensive for not good quality work for your pet.
