- KSKarina S.Mar 8, 20261.0Terrible experience. Our kitten has been to multiple vet offices AND Vetco clinic before. Absolutely no issues, a perfect gentleman, very sociable, and he was handled with care that allowed him to feel safe. This last visit was absolutely the opposite of that (March 7th). The assistant lady was immediately very aggressive with him squeezing him and jerking him out of his carrier. The vet was very obviously nervous even though he hadn’t moved or made a peep yet. The assistant put pretty much her full body weight on our 7 POUND kitten, making him cry out. We have never heard our kitten make those noises before. The vet then tried to administer his shots all the while shaking and jerking away anytime he moved slightly. After the fact, the assistant came up to us and started telling us he needs to be sedated or taken to a full service clinic for vaccines🤦♀️ (which we will be going to next time). My husband asked if we could hold him next time, she immediately and very rudely told us that it is against their policy, which is fine, and then proceeds to insult him saying “I’m assuming your not trained like I am in assisting a vet”. Meanwhile calling him a girl and treating him the way she was. Insane and totally unprofessional. Please take your kitties somewhere else.
