  As a thriller and romance author, I sometimes have to step away from the writing desk to run a few errands, and Petco at the Palouse Mall is a great place to stop for pet supplies. The store has a huge selection of products for all kinds of pets, so it’s easy to find what you need without hunting around too much. I stopped in to pick up a few supplies and they had exactly what I was looking for. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. If you have a question or need help locating something, they’re quick to point you in the right direction. It’s also nice that this location stays open later than many stores in town, which makes it convenient if you’re running errands in the evening. Overall it’s a dependable Petco location with a large selection and helpful staff, and it’s always an easy stop when I need to pick up pet supplies.

  They do not take care of their fish. All the tanks are dirty, 1/4 of the bettas have dirty cloudy water with almost dead fish. Asked an employee how often they change their water and got some statement saying Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The betta bowls tell otherwise.

  Absolutely horrible. I literally was there yesterday and grabbed a 35 pack of mealworms and once I got home to feed my geckos more than half of the container was full of beetles. Why would I give them beetles and why sell that to customers. You had some dead and put it back in the fridge then handed me a smaller container with hardly any mealworms. Absolutely pathetic industry I suggest to never buy product from them the store I recommend is pets are people too in Pullman because their mealworms are actually mealworms and got my money's worth so I'll never go back there again I absolutely regretted going to Petco.
