The groomer seemed well trained and the entire process was quick and efficient. My kitty did well and the groomer seemed like a true pro.
- JSJodi SmithJan 26, 20262.0The groomer was incredibly unpleasant, as if she were having a very bad day and didn’t want to be there. Even her interactions with the client before us were very sour. I specifically stated I did not want my dog shaved. We discussed the few areas that were of concern (legs, behind ears) but she was not matted overall. When I picked her up, she’d been shaved and the groomer, very unpleasantly, told me how much work my dog had taken. Not only had she been shaved without notice (a phone call or text would have been appreciated), she also didn’t smell fresh like she’d been bathed and she had a bright red nick under her ear where she’d been shaved to her skin. Finally, when I combed her that evening, there were tangles, indicating that even with her short cut/shave, she hadn’t been brushed out. We’ve used the grooming services prior to this and have been very happy. Maybe it was just a bad day. Maybe my expectations were unreasonable. I could live with either had there been pleasant communication/customer service. I really wonder how my dog was treated while there. Not good, I’m guessing.
