  I hadn't planned on getting a bird but there was a little one being chased and pecked. I offered the guuy working $20 4 him or her. He said no. But if he said yes I'd have had to buy everything for it. I just hope the little bird stayed alive.

  Employee working in fish department ignored us and kept walking away when we would make eye contact and then refused to sell us fish without a water sample. Our tank has been set up for awhile, we cleaned it several days ago to prepare for new fish.

  Won't shop here again. Employees accused my kid of stealing when clearly it was a piece of trash in her pocket and her phone.

  Absolutely the worst customer service I've encountered in my entire life, in any context. She was rude, told us the animal care cards at petco are all wrong, gave us different information which I looked up after we left and she was wrong. Refused to sell us fish unless we bring tank water in to be tested? Never had such a bizarre experience just trying to buy fish.
