The mealworms (refrigerated) being in stock are the only reason I gave 2 stars. All of the fresh insects (crickets, dubai roaches, etc.) that were supposed to be available live were dead, and when I say, dead, I mean DEAD dead like they have been dead for days. We waited almost 5 minytes up front to check out as no kne was watching the front of the store. One worker had taken a pet back to be groomed but didn,t radio for help, she just - left. Then my husband asked how much a clearance item was that had tno tag and the worker said uts not on clearance, even though there was 5 on the shelf. Needless to say, I will never step foot into this PetCo location again.

Their staff is very informative and knowledgeable about products and quick to answer questions with such great attitudes. Petco is well lit and open and inviting, not box store type pet shops. Prices are ALWAYS reasonable. And my little girl loves the fishys!
