She then asked for a phone number for my rewards phone number and I politely declined, trying to get out of the store due to being in a rush. I did have a rewards number, I was just trying to get out of the store quickly. The cashier then told me if I wanted the price change I would need to sign up for rewards. I didnt know that was the policy but it did come off pretty rude. I could have just picked up my online order from Petco and went over to Target where my item was cheaper than the price change anyways. I was VERY off put by this. And will take my business somewhere else.
