I scheduled my dog for a routine exam, the vet didn't even come in the room to check out my dog, and the bill was close to $750 (routine exam & heartworm meds), they didn't even cut her nails. They were not busy, so there shouldn't really be a reason why the vet didn't go in the room. When I asked if that's the usual, they said usually, unless your dog has something wrong with it, they will not be seen by the vet, but it's up to the vet that's on shift, usually they will only see the vet assistant. They only spent 10 minutes for the entire visit. This is the 1st and only time I have been to a "vetless" -"vet" appointment. Lol There are many other places on island that are way less expensive that do way more and can give your fur baby a better experience!!
