Super rude. Unhelpful and not nice. No good at giving advice. That was the manager I believe. Talked over us a lot, didn't actually answer the question I asked and made my anxiety spike due to poor communication. Every time we come in there's either a rude person at the till or the advice is useless. I googled what I had asked and got better full answers there. Without feeling judgement or being talked over

I've been a loyal Pets at Home customer for years! Longer than i can remember! Today i decided to go get some fish for my fish tank. I used to work at Maidenhead Aquatics so I'm well aware of how many fish can go in an aquarium and sizes they should be etc, but i wanted to buy them at PaH because all the staff are lovely or so i thought... My fish tank has 2 Molly's, a couple of small shrimp and 1 slightly bigger one and today i was refused fish because anymore is classed as an overcrowded aquarium. I asked for 4 molly's and 4 platty's which for anyone who doesn't know are like smaller molly's. I've recently moved around alot lately and some of the fish have passed from stress, my tank has always been clean, well kept and looked after on the highest level yet i was told I'm not allowed anymore. I was in disbelief to be honest. I explained I've worked at over fish shops and told "no you're not allowed anymore " at the end of the day I'm still spending my money and taken the non existent risk by adding more but refused. When i said i would go somewhere if I'm not served, i was told "okay you do that, seeya"
Like i say I'm a customer that goes 2 or 3 times a week because of all my pets but i will not be doing business with this Pets at Home again.
