Went to buy guinea pigs today as surprise gift for granddaughter. After having a bad experience at the Falkirk store I decided just to go the whole hog and buy a cage and the guinea pigs so that all would be ok. After the Falkirk store phoned to lie about our previous visit my Guinea pig cage which I specifically asked for and paid for suddenly became a "temporary transport cage"
So the Pets at home mafia win today , lost sale of two guinea pigs and cage £110 .
Managed to find a breeder so surprise maintained , pic of two happy guinea pigs in the new run (we didn't have.... allegedly)
