Don't expect to buy fish here if its an hour before closing OR on a Sunday. Staff aren't trained apparently and they need a lot of time to do it. Im going to the little shop in Park Street , Chippenham tomorrow instead. This shop didn't say on their website anything about when to buy fish, so I drove 16 miles for nothing!. 32 miles round trip!

Purchased a hamster up for adoption today - (“Nutso”!) came earlier in the week and had a lovely chat with Mandy who was really friendly and happy to discuss care needs. Excellent service also from the three ladies in store today - apologies I don’t know your names - you were so helpful and kind towards us when purchasing today!

Could the Pets at Home Chippenham staff be anymore miserable and disengaged when being served by them today. Forget any assistance or help with a question you may have. Absolutely a joke, lm being served by a person who isn't even engaging or looking at me and talking to other members of staff. I myself work in front facing retail and customer service, why is it when you have a day off and go shopping like a normal customer, you can never find the same service you give your customers. I cannot fault the vet staff, they are friendly, polite and generally care about you and your pet and give you the time and day if you are worried about your pet. Bravo to the vet team 👏.
