Could the Pets at Home Chippenham staff be anymore miserable and disengaged when being served by them today. Forget any assistance or help with a question you may have. Absolutely a joke, lm being served by a person who isn't even engaging or looking at me and talking to other members of staff. I myself work in front facing retail and customer service, why is it when you have a day off and go shopping like a normal customer, you can never find the same service you give your customers. I cannot fault the vet staff, they are friendly, polite and generally care about you and your pet and give you the time and day if you are worried about your pet. Bravo to the vet team 👏.

Such a variance in service here, really hit and miss. We went last time to buy sone shrimps for our fish tank, but there was s hand written sign taped to the tanks saying they didn't have enough staff to be able to get the fish to buy. Went to Whitehall Garden Centre instead!

Went the just after Christmas to obtain some fish for my son and it was very busy but reasonably priced, clearly the staff cared for the animals they were selling and information they provided was useful.
If you want to buy fish, be aware your tank must be set up, treated with appropiate water conditioner and established before adding any fish for at least a week.
