He had been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism a few years earlier and had proceedures there too where he was treated like an old friend and loved going to the vets. When his time came, they all stayed later. Gave us all the advice and time to make our decision. Made him happy and comfortable eating his snacks as he went to sleep. Such a gentle and peaceful time. We were given space and support throughout this time and even wrapped him in a soft blanket. I wish I could remember the ladies name as she was so good with him and us.
