Wayne the vet is absolutely amazing - he is the best, and if I were rating him alone, it would easily be a 5-star review.
Sadly, I have had to take my pet elsewhere due to the practice manager, Julie. My account was apparently placed "in debt" because a Direct Debit wasn't set up, despite the fact that I have the paperwork proving I gave the practice all my details.
I spoke directly to Julie back in March, and she promised to call me back the following week to resolve this. We are now in May, and she never called me back. This total lack of communication effectively put my dog's health at risk.
After being a loyal client for over 10 years, it’s incredibly disappointing to leave, but I was left disappointed and sad, I had complete trust and faith in Wayne and the nursing team, but Julie's negligence and poor communication forced me to move to another vet.
(EDIT 27.05.26 ::I will not be contacting the practice again for a 3rd time re the same issues when i have been promise twice, a call back from Julie, this is pointless - FYI i never asked you to share my case files on this review either.)

Very dishonest. Took our dog there, for a stay of a little over 24hrs at a cost of over £3500. No written or verbal estimates. At no point were costs discussed other than to tell them she wasn’t insured (this is borne out on their own telephone recordings that confirm there is no mention at all). Stupid I know, both our other dogs are now insured but I naively never expected costs to be so high. We were told initially that X-rays showed she had swallowed some kind of skewer, only to be told later that this was in fact ‘aggressive lymphoma’. I’m no vet but I don’t see how these two things can be mistaken. I’ve now moved my other dog and registered our new dog with another vet practice.
I want to take this further to the vet regulatory body and want to know if anyone else has had similar experiences. Please do your research before deciding where to place your pet, I wish I had.

Very sad time as I had to have my elderly cat put down. From reception to the vet I couldn't have asked for more consideration and kindness.
