Our cat unfortunately was hit by a car and eventually had to have a leg removed. We took our cat to this vet to begin with, who we feel completely neglected him from start to finish. We were first referred to their Bridgenorth branch, and eventually to the Animal Trust in Shrewsbury, with our costs somehow coming to the exact amount of our insurance excess. Funny that.
After a night in the care of this vet, our cat received his surgery, and we were not contacted once for a follow-up appointment with this vet to confirm everything was ok. The Animal Trust in Shrewsbury had unfortunately left an open wound unbandaged, which we were expected to pay to rectify due to their error.
Whilst that may not be this vet's mistake, it was their responsibility to ensure aftercare was followed due to us starting the treatment of our cat with them. It was this vet who referred us to the Animal Trust in Shrewsbury throughout our treatment with them, so responsibility should be shared.
Blame has been passed between all the vets, and nobody has taken any accountability; they've just been happy to drain our money to rectify the mistakes between them all.
When we eventually booked our aftercare visit, the vet charged us for antibiotics to clear the potentially infected wound that was left open after surgery. We were of course happy to do this, but felt a slight sense of injustice considering we were paying to rectify a mistake in care. This was after they wanted to charge thousands to send a swab off to confirm what infection it was.
Unfortunately, I feel our whole experience with this vet has felt like profit over care. We are extremely disappointed and have decided to move vets.

Very disappointed with my latest visit for my cats annual health check.
Vet was not interested in anything I had to say or took any particular interest in my cat. Just wanted to push me into yet another very expensive surgery. I will not return.
