  Money-centric vets. A stray cat turned up at our house quite worse for wear. We took her in to the vets and their immediate response was to just let it go. I understand that they can’t just keep every stray cat that comes through their door but this cat was in a particularly poor condition. No advice was given for alternative shelters or Catteries. They finally agreed to keep the cat for one night if i picked it up in the morning. They estimated the cat at 3 years of age, the cat was then taken to a more competent and caring vets in the morning and they confirmed the age to be 18 years old. How they estimated at such a contrast, I do not know. I suppose it speaks to their competency. The cat is now safe and back with her owners thanks to local cat rescuers.

  Super out of hours vet, was very knowledgeable dealing with my rabbit who wasn’t eating following a dental procedure. Even examined him on the floor incase he tried to leap off the table! They spent an hour caring for him, testing his blood and giving pain killers, fluids and gut motility medicine . They discussed the possibility of hospitalising him overnight, but we decided against. Pleased to say he was eating herbs and pooing the next morning! Phew! Obviously there was a premium price as it was out of hours, but I’d rather have that option that than lose my pet waiting for the vet to open. (And that’s what credit cards / insurance is for!!) Thanks very much to the team working on 28/04/26. We’re hoping Teddy will continue to improve. (Fingers crossed.) Otherwise it’s reassuring to know this service is there.

  Thank you for being there for us late last night. The vet and receptionist were amazing. Helped us make our little Winnie feel better. We could not recommend the practice highly enough.

  When having to unfortunately make use of the euthanasia services last night, the way that things were handled over the phone with my family were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Even though unfortunately their dog didn't make the journey down, your staff continued to provide an exceptional service and even helped my niece say goodbye to her best friend. Thank you for helping them during one of their most difficult times.
