would like to make a formal complaint regarding my recent visit to Pets at Home.
While waiting in the veterinary area, I observed several members of staff standing around talking amongst themselves, laughing, and making negative comments about other people. This came across as very unprofessional and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers.
In particular, there was one member of staff standing at the till who appeared disinterested and unfriendly, making customers feel unwelcome. Meanwhile, the majority of the team seemed more focused on chatting than carrying out their duties.
The only member of staff who stood out positively was Gemma. She was polite, professional, and appeared to be the only person actively working and helping customers while others were standing around talking. Her attitude and work ethic were excellent and deserve recognition.
I feel disappointed that such a poor level of professionalism was displayed by the rest of the team, especially in a customer-facing environment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately, as it reflects badly on the store and customer experience.

Im so sorry I didn’t ask this wonderful girls name but she did a fantastic job measuring up our rescue dog for a harness. She was very kind and patient but most of all knowledgeable and I felt i could completely trust her professional judgment. This young lady is an absolute credit to your company, she tried several collars and harnesses to check the fit. She truly cared which is so nice to see. Ps sorry Astor stole treats from your pick n mix 🤭

Just want to give the staff who were working yesterday Saturday 25th a big thankyou, me my partner and son visited yesterday with our pup (koda) when i came in my toddler had a huge meltdown, and i had to leave the store leaving my partner in there with the puppy, the staff were exceptional! Nothing was too much they were so helpful and kind, they helped my partner with the pup and getting everything we needed! One member even helped him to the car! Amazing staff 👏 i have so much gratitude for your staff for yesterday, was a huge relief, in a very stressful situation for me, there all a credit to the company, will always come here after being shown such compassion and kindness, well done guys! And thankyou from a very stressed mum 🥺❤️
