Dr Aimee Keen was extraordinary throughout this process. Her empathy, honesty and calm support helped us navigate such a painful moment with clarity and compassion. She took the time to listen, to explain, and to truly understand what Charlie meant to us. On the day itself, both Dr Keen and the nurse who accompanied her were incredibly kind, gentle and respectful. They treated Charlie with dignity and treated us with such warmth and care. Receiving the thoughtful and heartfelt card afterwards meant more to us than we can express. In a moment of deep grief, that gesture brought real comfort. We will always be grateful for the compassion shown to our family and to Charlie. Thank you for helping us give him a peaceful goodbye.
