Me and my sons visited the Rushden branch as we are bringing a new puppy home. The staff were so smiley and helpful from the start.
Poppy was absolutely amazing and assisted us through our journey of preparing us for our new little one. She was patient, answered all our many questions and educated us on the features and benefits of the items our new puppy needed. We couldn't have done it without her. We were little anxious about getting all the right things that was needed however she made our experience memorable. Thank you Poppy and the Rushden team. I'm not sure how you reward your employees in your business. Please do reward her because she definitely deserves it xx

Some of the worst customer service! Took my puppy in to get her some more food, being a puppy she had an accident which I quickly cleared up but as I didn’t have wipes on me I went to tell the cashier round the corner to see if they had something I could use to make sure it was all completely clean. Instead a worker went past before I could get there and went ‘ugh great’ whilst I stood there and apologised he walked off. Once I got to the till to pay, wasn’t offered the option of paying for a bag even though I had 15 tins of food and other items, the young girl at the till seemed very bothered that she had to come away from her phone to serve me and when I asked if I could use the basket to carry my items out seeing as she never offered a bag, she muttered ‘guess so’ and just stared at me as I put all the items back into the basket so I could leave, again not even a smile. I understand having a bad day but the workers in the store just seemed miserable

We’ve been using this store for a few months now since the arrival of our Puppy and I am truly stunned how brilliant the service is here. Every time we visit the team are Always engaged, interested and really helpful both in the store and the Vets For Pets Department.
At first I assumed it was a one off but it’s every time and right across the team. My expectations were not that high for a national chain but this really is first class for service and care.

Went to rushden pets at home as Wellingborough one didn't have male rats . We brought 2 boys lovely shinny healthy coats staff were friendly and happy and helpful . It did take a while to get service but they were quite busy would use again
The black white boy developed tumor within 7 days and then had prolapse from willy area so sadly had to be pts . I never contacted pets at home as I need to get there again and husband was working full time. The grey boy doing great but it has put me off buying from them as I had issues with gerbils before now too
