- STSarah TrenchMar 19, 20261.0Took 16 month old for 3rd ever groom. Picked him up, was told he was well behaved and that there were no issues. Got home to find the back of his scrotum was very red and sore looking, as if they had been grazed. He was constantly licking at it therefore making it go VERY red to the point it looked like a burn! It has caused unnecessary stress to all of us and discomfort/pain to my dog. I then had to ring the vets for advice and was advised to clean it with salt water and purchase a medical suit to stop him licking so it could heal, meaning more expense! The lady on the desk was rude, telling me I should already have paw balm and teeth cleaning gel for my pup when it’s none of her business. I’m extremely angry this happened and it was not communicated to me and he will definitely not be going back there again!
- LLLMar 12, 20261.0Whilst waiting for a vet appointment I could clearly see into the grooming room and watched a dog that was visibly distressed by the blower. The groomer was pulling the dog around by the harness, grabbing its face and pointing at it while telling it to stop. The handling felt too heavy-handed for a dog that was already anxious and it was uncomfortable to watch. It has completely put me off using this service here. Dogs that are distressed during grooming need calm, patient handling, and unfortunately that wasn’t what I witnessed. I’ve raised this with the store manager and hope handling practices here are reviewed

This is how he came back from a £45 signature bath and brush. Covered in mud on his tummy and back legs. I doubt he had even got wet. Customer service were slow and unhelpful. Not at all impressed.

But more than that, the staff were fab & went above & beyond with lots of great advice & even coming onto the shop floor with me to discuss food/dietary needs for my dogs. Already booked in again.
