I am here on holiday and tonight my dog had a fit for the first time. It was a terrifying experience for the whole family. I called Alnorthumbria vets in Alnwick and they squeezed us straight in, even though it was right at the end of the day. They were calm and reassuring and we honestly couldn't have got better treatment. They let me know that if he had another fit, how I could get him to their hospital, and they gave me medication to help him recover and didn't even mind when, as he was feeling a bit better, he tried to steal the squeaky strawberries and climb over the reception desk! I cannot thank the team enough for their prompt and professional help. I would recommend this vets for anything, but especially for the emergency help they gave me. I would also like to say that they were exceptionally reasonably priced.

We were on holiday in the area when our dog hurt his dew claw on the beach. We telephoned and were able to get an early morning appointment the following day. The staff were very friendly and professional. We were seen swiftly, the claw removed and dressed all within about 20 minutes and it didn't break the bank. Thank you so much, would definitely recommend.

An issue that we had no control over meant that Lou (the Beagle) needed a check up blood test. Can I add that the family were on holiday at the time. Thank you for being so kind and whilst we appreciate Lou wasn't too impressed having to give blood, the care we received we splendid.
