Whilst staying in Rothbury this summer, my dog became unwell with a persistant upset stomach. I telephoned for some advice and was offered an almost immediate appointment on a Saturday too. The care and professionalism of Simon, the vet on duty that day was exemplary. He was amazing with our slightly timid dog, reassuring and gave us some really good information on what to do. Our dog was much better after a few days. Thank you to everyone at Alnorthumbria in Alnwick.

Alnorthumbria Vets were brilliant when my dog, with a complicated health history, ate some raisins whilst we were on holiday in the area. Reception were friendly, calm, clear and knew exactly what actions to take to ensure we got the relevant history from his normal vet. He was seen promptly. The veterinarian was really nice, very clear on pros and cons of treatment options and she dealt with him immediately with a good outcome. Would highly recommend this practise.

Had to visit during holidays up in Bamburgh due to one pup's eye infection. Very helpful and friendly in fitting us in within an hour and helpful in sorting him out with no fuss and lots of care

Fantastic emergency care! We had to bring our Springer Spaniel, Ralphie, to the Alnwick branch on 21 April while on holiday. The entire team was brilliant, especially Jodie McLean, who investigated his issue. She was incredibly kind, patient, and offered excellent care and advice. Highly recommend!

I am here on holiday and tonight my dog had a fit for the first time. It was a terrifying experience for the whole family. I called Alnorthumbria vets in Alnwick and they squeezed us straight in, even though it was right at the end of the day. They were calm and reassuring and we honestly couldn't have got better treatment. They let me know that if he had another fit, how I could get him to their hospital, and they gave me medication to help him recover and didn't even mind when, as he was feeling a bit better, he tried to steal the squeaky strawberries and climb over the reception desk! I cannot thank the team enough for their prompt and professional help. I would recommend this vets for anything, but especially for the emergency help they gave me. I would also like to say that they were exceptionally reasonably priced.
