Every time we visit Pets at home it’s the same. Most of the attendants are so ill mannered! They are always in hurry no matter whatever time you visit them. We were here for aquarium fishes & the lady who were packing them for us was clearly frustrated no idea what for. A couple of questions from us & she turned out really annoyed. How come these people work with pets? Quite similar experience at the reception isle in the same day as well. So disappointing!

Absolutely shocking customer service.
Me and my wife went in to buy a fish, not ask for one for free. I had two fish, but sadly one died, so I wanted to buy another to keep the remaining one company. I showed the staff a photo of my tank, and instead of listening, they kept repeating, "There are already two fish in the picture, so we can't sell you another one." Even after I explained that one had died, the response was, "I'm not going to sell you one anyway."
The attitude was unbelievably rude. It honestly felt like the fish were the staff personal property, as if selling one would cost them their own money.
The whole interaction left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. I genuinely can't help wondering whether me and my wife got treated this way because we were not British. I hope that's not the case, but after the way I was spoken to, it's hard not to question it.
No customer deserves to be treated like this.

I honestly don't understand the staff's attitude. I went to buy a fish and simply asked for their advice, but they made me feel like I was asking for something illegal or for free.

The way she spoke made me feel like the fish were her personal property and she was doing me a favour, rather than helping a customer who wanted to buy one. It honestly didn't feel like they wanted to sell the fish at all. I can't help wondering if they treat everyone this way, or if I was treated differently because I'm not British.
