Went into the store on the 22nd of April 2026 around 7PM and was greeted with a hello and a "do you need any help with anything?" Which was pleasant. The staff were very helpful with helping me find stuff in the store.
They also got me set up with a Pets at home account and subsequently I got a discount on dog food due to having a pets at home account.
Very pleased.

Wish I could say that I visited here on better terms but I can't!
The reason why was i had to take me little mate Jack ( jack russel ) he wasn't acting his usual self bouncing an jumping everywhere even tho he's 17 years old. So the vet was a lovely woman ( sorry i can't remember your name) she examined him talking to me through everything that she was doing an what the results where which weren't very good. In the end I had a decision to make let him go without suffering anymore so it's broken my heart to let him go but I knew it was best for him, he will be deeply missed.
I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff, they're an absolutely amazing team, keep up the fantastic work.

Use to come here regularly and never had a problem staff usually lovely however yesterday my partner and I went in for a hamster bought all the required stuff cage/bedding/bowl ect on Amazon and when we went in we spoke to a younger girl mid 20s, the second we asked about the hamsters we got interigated on where the cage was from specs/proof of cage pictures the whole lot, the entire time it was constant eye rolls condescending attitude and basically we was wrong about everything. When asking questions to learn more the girl seemed to take every question as a challenge alot of scuffing and eye rolls, then she tried to get us to buy their cage which she then said even the good sized one is technically not big enough for 1 dwarf hamster bare in mind it had a label under the cage saying it was specifically for at least 1dwarf hamster so when i questioned why it says it's fine right underneath with their own label she shrugged. This cage is already quite big. By this point it felt like a sale tactic to purchase absolutely everything from their specific shop which already got me quite suspicious. We wanted this to help take my mind off the fact my dad passed recently and wanted to cheer me up and it was for my partner's birthday present so a 2 in 1. In the end I politely said to leave it due to the costs just mounting up as everything we had prepared was "nowhere good enough". As we walked out the cage she recommended I put right back from the till to the shelve to be nice, I apologised for the inconvenience and when my partner was with her sister in law the moment i turned my back she rolled her eyes again at my sister in law in regards to me. There was a gentleman and another woman older who was at the tills at the time and I wish we would've got them instead perhaps we was just unlucky the girl who was dealing with us however came across as if the hamsters was hers and didn't want to sell them very strange experience which left us all feeling deflated. Happy to speak to a manager should you wish to discuss what happened as i assume it was one of the other two who was in the background when this happened. Please have a word with the young lady and advise her to stop rolling her eyes and pulling faces we was already going through alot personally and wanted to take our minds off it.
