  Avoid this practice at all cost I never imagined I would be writing a review like this. Frankie, our happy and healthy 2-year-old Dachshund, was admitted to Buchanan Veterinary Group for what should have been a routine spay operation. During the surgery, Frankie suffered a ureter injury. She required emergency referral to specialist hospitals, underwent further major surgery and intensive treatment, but despite every effort to save her, she sadly had to be euthanised. Our family has been left completely heartbroken. The emotional impact has been devastating, particularly for my daughter. who fought tirelessly for Frankie every step of the way. Whilst the practice has responded to our complaint and acknowledged that Frankie suffered a ureter injury during surgery, we remain deeply dissatisfied with the explanations provided and continue to have serious concerns about the care Frankie received and the events that led to her death. Our complaint remains ongoing, and we are pursuing the appropriate channels to seek answers and accountability. This review reflects our personal experience

  I visited the vets this morning with my cat Coco . I was greeted by the lovely and friendly receptionist Karen who always makes me feel welcome and relaxed . My cat can be fractious when needing to have things done that he doesn’t wish to do. However I was amazed at how Caan ( the vet ) was with him . My cat totally relaxed in Caan’s presence and let him stroke him and was by blinking away . He then let Caan inject him with his vaccines and apply felisecto flea treatment to back of his without so much as a flinch . I have never seen my cat so relaxed ever when needing things done . The vet nurse ( who was lovely ) was there to help but we didn’t need her to help at all as Coco just let everything happen . After this Caan was keen to know all about how Coco is in his behaviour and what he eats and nothing was rushed . Honestly I was made up and now feel happy to ever bring Coco back for anything and I’m sure Coco feels the same way . He can be “ spicy “ so I was pleasantly surprised to say the least . At this vets they have lovely calm way with animals and their owners . I used to being me dog here years ago and so did my mother bring hers and it’s an excellent practice and would not ever need to go anywhere else . World give more than 5 stars as they go the extra mile . Thankyou sooo much for making mine and Cocos a pleasant experience . Caan definitely had the “ magic touch “ . Many many thanks xxx 😻
