- SHSue Haynes2 days ago5.0I took my puppy for one of her innoculations. The vet nurse was professional polite and confident when handling her. Everything was done to a high standard and I was happy with the service I recieved and continue taking my pets to the surgery. There was no charge at the time as we are on a pet club scheme.

Yesterday, we made the heartbreaking decision to have our beloved dog put to sleep. The vet who cared for him was outstanding she was compassionate, patient, respectful, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. We will always be grateful to her, and this review is absolutely not a reflection of the care she gave. Unfortunately, everything that happened afterwards was completely unacceptable. Before leaving the practice, and again over the phone, we made it very clear which crematorium our dog was to be taken to. Despite confirming this twice, the practice still sent him to the wrong crematorium. We had paid for a next-day individual cremation so we could bring our boy home as quickly as possible. Instead, we were told we wouldn’t receive his ashes until the following week because of the practice’s mistake. The only way to keep the original timescale was to make the journey to Cheshire ourselves to collect him. At a time when we should have been grieving in peace, we were instead dealing with phone calls, confusion, and a long journey to retrieve our beloved dog. Sadly, this isn’t the first mistake we’ve experienced with this practice, as we’ve also had previous issues with prescriptions. Those problems were frustrating, but this was on an entirely different level. There is simply no excuse for sending someone’s beloved pet to the wrong crematorium after they have been entrusted to your care. Rest easy my boy ❤️
