Had my dog spayed today.
Was given a written estimate of £601 but as a member of the Healthy Pet club should have received a 10% discount.
When I spoke to a very rude Practice Manager, Alex Richardson she said the bill estimate included the discount.
I have added both emails I got before the op and as you can clearly see...Healthy Pet Club should have a 10% discount and nowhere on the estimate does it mention a discount.
Practice Manager then went on to tell me that the bill should have been over £700...really for a medium dog standard spay..could have been done by Laparoscopy for that amount.
Think twice before you register with CVS.
Healthy Pet club is run by them too!
I am now taking this matter to the RCVS.

I had unfortunately to let my darling dog go on the 7th of January. He had lost a lot of blood, as he had nasal cancer. The Spanish vet (can’t remember her name) said he’d have to be sedated, took him away for 30 minutes, he came back muzzled, not sedated. His passing still haunts me today, can’t get over how he spent his last moments and feel guilty for the way he died. Had been with Avenue Rd for over twenty five years. Would definitely not recommend them. By the way he was a black cocker spaniel called Hannk.
