Such a ridiculous experience. The vets refused to answer simple questions regarding my pet and the questions about treatment plans which we did not even recieve proper results for. Gaining documents such as copies of consent forms, treatment plans and the result reports was a STRUGGLE to say the least and I left the consultations confused and frustrated after the staff was condescending. I understand difficult days at work, but when working as a vet you cannot dismiss me and tell me that something to do with my pet is "not your line of work".

Security Guard is the most friendliest of all the staff there. I shop at pets at home regular this store i find staff can be stand offish and blank you. I had asked the gorl on the till for help with buying a pet she rolled her eyes like she couldn't be bothered. Prefer to shop in crayford store as staff are friendly and very happy to help you.

I am very disappointed with the customer service I received from the duty manager, Alice, at this pet shop. As a first-time hamster buyer, I expected patience, advice, and clear explanations about what my pet would need. Instead, I was treated as if I was bothering her the entire time.
Alice constantly looked annoyed and unhappy to help, like being asked questions was interrupting something more important. Her attitude was extremely unpleasant and unwelcoming. I had to spend around 30 minutes walking around the store trying to find someone to assist me, and when I finally got help, I still did not receive proper explanations or guidance.
I completely understand that animals need appropriate care and suitable cages, and I was ready to listen and learn. The problem was not the recommendations themselves- it was the way she were communicated. Everything felt cold, dismissive, and pressured, as though the only focus was making me buy a much more expensive cage without taking the time to properly explain why.
For a new customer, especially someone buying a pet for the first time, this experience was honestly upsetting. A pet shop should make people feel supported and informed, not uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Please consider this review as a formal complaint regarding the customer service provided by Alice. I hope the store improves the way customers are treated in the future, because at the moment the atmosphere and attitude make people not want to return.
