Tonight I Just called this out of hours service as my dog stopped breathing and the woman on the phone told me as I was not registered they could not take on any new registrations. And refused emergency care for my dog. I I said so what am I suppose to do then as I just couldn’t sit by and watch my dog pass away! My niece and sister had to tell me step by step to save my dog life’s. Lucky I was able to pull my dogs tongue out and give mouth to nose breaths and she started breathing! I also wasn’t sure if I was still registered with pdsa and her next response was pdsa will send you to us anyway! I just nearly witnessed watching my poor dog look at me for help why she couldn’t breathe and she treated the emergency with no compassion or any simple advice! The receptionist should not be working at this vets! I was happy to pay the out of hours service of course anything for my dog! But she refused to help my poor senior dog in need! This will be reported. I have finally spoke to a decent vets who advised me what to do and happy to see her! This lady who was on reception does not have heart! Disgusting behaviour for a emergency out of hours vets!!!
