I took my cat to get his first vaccinations and microchip here and the vet (Phoebe) was so incredibly gentle and kind with him, she let him explore and feel comfortable before proceeding with anything, she was amazing with explaining what everything is for and what it does.

Callum on reception will not allow you to speak. He is extremely rude & interruptive. Yesterday, I called the vets & confirmed the date & time for our appointment & everything was confirmed. The following day, He explains that they have moved my appointment & they cannot see my 2 month old kitten today, without any reasonable explanation & absolutely no notice!! I did NOT receive a phone call or text or email. As I attempted to explain I have not received any notice of this, he interrupted me multiple times & continued to say they will NOT see my kitten today. Thankfully Rebecca & Jill did assist me today in getting my kitten seen to by one of the lovely vets there. A huge shame as most of the staff here are lovely & professional.

I went to this clinic for my pet’s euthanasia, and the experience was not appropriate for such a delicate moment. They did not wait until my pet was fully unconscious before administering the final injection, as there was still movement and vocalization. Additionally, I felt that everything was rushed, as I was asked several times if I preferred to leave the room. I would strongly advise other pet owners to ensure that full unconsciousness is confirmed before proceeding.

Your website says you're open til 4pm on a Sat. We raced round at 3.40pm in an uber after hearing someone had purposely ran over a gull whose wing was hanging off with an open fracture (finder left the bird in a plant pot and post a picture to Facebook rather than bother to find a vet themselves) but your shutters were down. It was hours later til we could find a vet (in Chester). This bird suffered for hours because you decided to close early and not bother updating your website or answer machine message.

Honestly this might be the most useless medical service I ever used. My cat was diagnosed with gingivitis after many visity to the doctor and every single medic we had had limited knowledge about the course of action in this case. We were lucky that an intern told us that we have to extract the teeth, the doctors were absolutely useless. No post surgery checks or advice, no feel of urgency or responsibility, nothing. Everyone in that building looks like they are under a spell. Having the appointment at a fixed hour only to be taken 30-40 mins later. every single time. Been there for almost 4 years and no sign of improvement.
