  Please never take your dog for a groom here! Took my small cockapoo yesterday £65 for a groom they cut he’s nail too short he was bleeding! When I noticed I called up and told them I was told it definitely wasn’t from them when I could clearly see they cut it too short. Such rude staff she put the phone down on me. They didn’t bath him he still stinks. And he’s eyes still full of gunk! 1.5 hours they had him and charged £65 to cut him to the bone no bath and hurt him! Fuming

  Taken Lizzie (female WCS), here twice now and couldn’t be happier. The groomers are friendly and clearly lovel the dogs they are grooming. Will be honest the first cut was to short (totally my fault) the second cut was absolutely perfect after talking to the groomer she suggested going up a few grades. Lizzie looks and smells fantastic (won’t last). With Lizzie been scared of the groomer (due to a bad experience else where) I told them about this on the first visit and again on the 2nd, which they took on board both times and helped her stay calm. In all yes it’s a little expensive but when you have a nervous dog and the groomers understand her needs, I’m willing to pay more to make sure Lizzie isn’t overly stressed, especially when the cut is excellent. 5* thanks 👍🏻

  RUDE don't answer the phone ever. I booked in person for a nail clipping which should be a walk in any time thing really came with my dog who I walked from bus she's nervous of cars only to be told there's no appointment wrote in and she can't do it as she was pregnant couldnt pick ringing phone up either while she went on about being pregnant and they are busy with a husky they meaning 1 girl doing everything I said I can lift her for you or can we not go tothe coffee shop and come back after husky just she's nervous said no they can't come back another day I said can I book it in just show up I said I'd rather turn up without being turned away again she continues to chat to other workers laughing as I was leaving not answering phone or helping the girl in the back I complained via groom room HQ and apparently its acceptable and the pregnant lady said they told me to come back after the husky I wasn't offered I'm used to Bury groom room where they are lovely but moved this shocked me Rochdale one wasn't any better the pregnant lady does shifts there too. Groom room should make sure there are at least 2 staff on that can do the job if pregnant at least lift up and answer the phone surely a phone is not to heavy. Swap them with someone on pets at home staff so they have a non lifting job??
