Front of house staff amazing unfortunately can’t say the same about the vets, one was horrible all about money not what was in my dogs best interest. I had an emotional time shortly after losing my wife and all the time I was having a meltdown the vet just kept trying to pump unnecessary treatments into me. I complained via a customer satisfaction survey but nothing became of it.

I took my dogs for their yearly injection booster vaccines and kennel cough spray. They were seen by Nero the vet and he is so patient and brilliant with the dogs. He offered them treats to make the experience nicer for them and this worked (he asked for our permission before offering treats, which is very professional). He is also very friendly and he gave the dogs their annual checkup to check their health and offers advice as required. He recommended a follow up appointment for one of the dogs and gave us a printed estimate for the cost to take away and think about it, no pressure was placed on us to book her in, it was left to us. The nursing and reception staff were so friendly and caring and overall I found absolutely no problems or concerns at all. Thank you to Nero and all your staff, you all go above and beyond and it shows how much you care for pets.

We found a lump on our labradors tummy . We rang straight away and were seen 20 minutes later. They took some samples and we found out a few days that it was cancerous. They made an appointment later that week for an operation, then contacted us to say they'd had a cancellation and it was brought forward.
The operation was successful- which was a huge relief and we'd like to thank all involved .

HARTLEPOOL PET OWNERS!!
Unfortunately my female cat got caught by my male cat just after his neutering, I took my cat to an appointment as I noticed her belly getting larger and nipples, I took her to bridge veterinary care in Hartlepool, the man who checked her out said she wasn’t pregnant and could go ahead and be spayed as he couldn’t feel any kittens. I asked if he was sure and he checked again as if your cat is pregnant when getting them spayed it is a huge incision from the top to bottom of stomach as they need to remove what’s inside. If she wasn’t pregnant it would be a tiny incision on her side and a lot easier. I booked the appointment for my cat to be spayed but a week and a half later I noticed a significant change in my cat and her appearance. I called the vet and they assured me it was okay as she was checked out. I started to feel a little movement in her stomach so I ordered all the things needed if she were to have kittens as I know my cat and something wasn’t right. The next day she went into labour and I called the vets again stating I thought she was going into labour as she was shouting at me and walked into the spare room (quietest room of the house). The vets had told me it wasn’t long enough since they checked her stomach kittens so if she was in labour the kittens wouldn’t survive. I was distressed on the phone and said “what do I do then?!” The lady on the phone was extremely rude and just said “ you will have to just bury them or something”.!!! (This is absolutely ridiculous). I have no grass around me at all to bury them even if I was to as it’s all concrete! (I just think it’s an awful way of communicating when someone is needing help). I hung up on the woman as she was just making the situation worse and helped my cat deliver 4 HEALTHY and fully ready kittens! 😡😡 they are currently 5 weeks old and have had no issues whatsoever! Bare in mind that if I was to have went ahead and got my cat spayed she would of passed away as they couldn’t of been able to get everything out and not knowing she was pregnant in the first place. They would have just told me there was a complication or infection!!! 😡 thank god I knew my cat well enough to not go ahead and get her spayed! Nobody take your parts of the family to this vets!!! The man who “checked” out my cat no longer works there but it’s not the first issue I have had with them. My sweet girl had to wait for me to go to the shops and get more stuff for her as what I ordered wasn’t coming until the next day! PLEASE AVOID! 😢
