I have just unfortunately had the worst experience visiting this veterinary clinic, I arrived at 1030pm as I was concerned about my rabbit and had previously explained to the receptionist before arriving that I had experienced this before, kept getting spoken over whilst on the call when I was trying to explain everything. As a worried pet parent I decided to take bunny in to be seen, she mentioned the £207 to be seen plus any extras for any medication which I said I have no problem paying. When I arrived I was seen straight away and I explained that he was in a lot of pain and the vet confirmed he had bloating of the tummy but told me he had to continue with the checks which I understand but I just asked if he could have some pain relief. I was questioning about the medication and just asking if cats and dogs suffer with the same problems as the medication was for cats and dogs that was being prescribed, I googled it to understand that the medications are used on smaller animals with a lower dose. I was only asking questions to make sure I new what I was giving my rabbit. I unfortunately speak with a low tone and was getting the impression from the vet that he thought I was being rude by asking so many questions. Bearing in mind I am also a little worried and stressed that my rabbit is close to death. When I came out of the appointment room the receptionist said to the vet “are you ok” in a way that sounded like he has just been abused by me, she went off to measure the medication and came back and asked if I wanted to know how to give bunny his medication and how much and said because you have done it many times in a very patronising manner, to which I answered no, I mentioned that I have done this before because my other bunny suffered the same problems, gut statis. The receptionist continued to make me very uncomfortable slamming the medication on the desk and shoving the card machine at me and saying, “you lady, are a piece of work” after I told her she was in the wrong profession! I also had my 12 year old witnessing this whole thing who is also worried about her pet. Customer service job roles, you should stay composed no matter what and especially in an out of hour veterinary clinic where worried pet parents are already upset and stressed. She escorted myself and my 12 old daughter out of the establishment as if I was some sort of threat. Absolutely gob smacked. If this is the same receptionist in all the other 1 star reviews, you should seriously consider whether you want this sort of woman on your front desk.

Saw Georgia last night at the emergency out of hours service. She was thorough, kind and all around amazing. She instantly put us and our poorly dog (Maeby) at ease, did a very comprehensive assessment and gave us some fantastic advice. I forgot to ask the receptionists name but she was also incredible and so reassuring. I can’t thank Georgia and the entire team enough!

Have been with cedar over 20 years amd always sung they're praises but unfortunately this time is very disappointing my dog was due his 6 months check and had cancelled appointment due to the heatwave then felt needed to speak about concerns so rebooked spoke to vet and confirmed my what I had thought .now and I have paid I as issued a bill for £70 but when called to question why ,unfortunately wasn't told it was supposed to have been nurse. Feeling very let down about this plus wasn't even given my dogs flee/worm unfortunately I've closed my account and will seek to find a reputable alternate veterinary very disappointed 😞

Outstanding - I would like to make our appreciation known for the outstanding highly professional care that we received from Amy and team at the extremely difficult time when we had to put our beloved Milly dog to sleep. Their care and compassion was outstanding for which we will be eternally grateful. A massive thank you!
