Absolutely appalling adoption service. Told today it’s first come first served!! Surely the welfare of the animal, proof of your home set up and experience from the people intending to adopt should be questioned. None of these questions were asked to the people who just ‘got in first.’ We were listening to everything. We have experience with animals and bonding them but were not even given a chance despite waiting. We also asked all week about adopting this specific animal. ‘First come first served’ is a disgusting way of rehoming animals and you really need to rethink your adoption process as this is why charities are so over run because of businesses like this.

Horrific adopting process, there was multiple people outside wanting to adopt the same rabbit, but they have a “first come first serve” policy which is RIDICULOUS. They never actually bothered to do interviews separately to see which home would be the most appropriate, nor did I see them ask for proof of the people who adopted him of their enclosure. The people who they sent him off with clearly had no idea about rabbits, the staff member did not ask them any questions regarding/testing their knowledge on rabbit welfare, diet, etc and how to look after them properly. They also mentioned how he was “aggressive”, so why give a rabbit to the first person without knowing if they are experienced or not? This is why so many rabbits end up back in adoption facilities.
