  After 8 years of using cwmbran we were told today by manager as we had phoned in and cancelled twice over 8 years we now defaulted deposit and would need to pay it again. A joke this was placed in covid! After attending to try to resolve what seemed a misunderstanding we were told husband hostile and will now not groom dog!! Trying to get someone with chip on shoulder and manager badge on to listen can see why husband was not happy, we are talking a dog groom for goodness sake! Jobs worth manager needs to put customers opinions and the years of using service at the front, not done policy that is useless in real world where emergencies happen occasionally in our time twice in 8 years, we are now barred as said husband hostile, we we wouldn't use them again 65 pound ow a joke, plenty nice groomers found and booked elsewhere cheaper polite these things happen gof a ready. Think again before booking here, want money not customer care!!

  Booked for my Samoyed this morning. Needed to have her bathed as I am pregnant and cannot do it for 12pm Paid £15 deposit for what was sold as a £32 bath!! I was called to move the time forward as the staff stated it wouldn't be enough time even though it was their slot, strange but I said ok and arrived earlier. Little did I know it was to add extra services! DONT BE FOOLED!! The wording underneath states it's indicative of information you give, the information given was she needed a bath! Got there and the manager told me I needed to pay £60 as he found one Matt behind her ear and said she needed nail clipping and a blow out for her coat etc which was now an hour and half long! I took her to the vets and she was fine, no issues with coat etc they were very happy with her. Owner told me my vets don't know what they're talking about he was so rude! He refused to give me back my deposit or even move it to another date which I reasonably stated I would pay extra if needed once pay day came as I only expected £32 as sold. Another lady stood by me said she was appalled by his behaviour and even apologised for overhearing the conversation! On the phone to the bank for misold product and definitely won't be returning! The pets at home manager tried to help but nothing he could do as it's independent, not actually part of the chain.
