We are devastated to have lost our kitten after she was hit by a car and handed into the practice on Monday. We had previously called and specifically asked to be contacted if an injured or deceased cat matching her description was brought in to the Brockworth branch.Unfortunately, we were not informed, despite her being at the practice. The lack of communication meant we spent days desperately searching for her, not knowing she had already been found. The same night we had called the Cheltenham branch and was told no cat fitting that description had been found despite her being transported there that morning and was being kept frozen there, which we weren’t told until calling again today. We were told we weren’t made aware because she wasn’t chipped but when she had her appointment at the Brockworth branch was told that she is too small to be chipped and was told to wait.
The communication throughout this incredibly difficult time was deeply upsetting. We hope the practice reviews its procedures so that other families do not have to experience the same heartbreak.

I am absolutely devastated and extremely disappointed by my experience.
Our kitten was brought to this practice on Monday. We called on Tuesday morning and again later that evening to report her missing and asked to be contacted immediately if she was brought in. We were told they had not had any cats brought in.
After continuing to search desperately for three days, we called again on Wednesday morning. Only then did someone double-check and tell us that our kitten had actually been at the practice since Monday.
We spent three days searching day and night while she had been there the entire time. We were then told it is procedure to only contact owners if a cat is microchipped. This was particularly upsetting because at her first appointment, we specifically asked when she could be microchipped and spayed. We were told she was too young and too small, and no microchipping was arranged.
We appreciate that procedures exist, but we cannot understand why we weren’t informed when we specifically called the practice asking whether our missing kitten had been brought in. We hope the practice reviews its procedures so that no other family has to go through the heartbreak that we have.

Every vet and vet tech we have worked with has been fabulous. While all of the vets we visited were great, Chelsea was above and beyond. The staff at the front desk is helpful with getting you sorted. They never pressured the puppy plan upon us but we used the puppy plan and it was easy to use and came with perks like socialization vet visits which were helpful with my dog. I highly recommend Woodlands at Warden Hill.

I cannot recommend Woodlands highly enough. We have recently been visiting for vaccinations of our kitten but also for a heart murmur and teeth extraction for our mature cat. The time the nurse (I believe her name was Megan) took to explain each itemised item on the bill to confirm we wanted that to take place but also to explain what this would entail was amazing. She gave us a space to ask questions and seek advice. They act in the best interest of the animals, for example our cat was quoted for worse case scenario for his teeth extraction but ended up only needing 1 tooth out. They took such great care of him in after-care and really considered what he likes and doesn’t like. I couldn’t recommend them enough and I feel my pets are so safe in their hands. Everybody is approachable and really kind towards any anxieties you might have around surgeries.
