So I thank them very much for that

- GGGrace GuoJun 28, 20261.0Extortionate prices and absolute scam! I’m always happy to pay for my pet’s care as long as it’s care it actually needs. I brought my pet in due to limping and the vet/nurse incorrectly diagnosed it as a knee issue and immediately recommended X-rays that costs 865GBP and potential surgery. I called other vet clinics to receive a quote for X-ray and realized most other practices charge around 500GBP or as low as 400GBP. I then brought my pet to an orthopedic specialist with 20 years experience at a different clinic just to be told it’s a hip issue that has been resolved by anti inflammatory drugs within 2 days. I understand that clinics need to make money but I think it’s absolutely crazy to recommend unnecessary care involving anesthesia which is risky for smaller animals just for profit gains. Extremely irresponsible!
- ASAnita SJun 1, 20261.0Really bad and unclear communication in general but most importantly on prices. I never felt like we were explained the options, only handed the bill at reception. I would advise anyone to change from Albavet if they would like things explained properly and also that their animal is seen by vets who genuinely care.
