My elderly parent’s cat was in the Pet Doctors annual care plan. They were late to collect included treatments because they are house bound and as a result Pet Doctors kept the treatments worth hundred of pounds. This is fraud and a disgrace. Whatever this local vet used to be it is now owned by CVS Group, a public company that buys up privately own vets. They are commercially very aggressive and are not on the side of the individual vet, pet or owner. Beware.
** I notice that the vet has replied to say that they do not withhold treatments that pet owners have paid for. This is a straight forward lie and actionable if not withdrawn.

We would just like to say a huge thank you to Charlotte and the team for making an incredibly traumatic time as comfortable as it could have been. Everyone was so kind and Charlotte was so professional and caring, it really did, and will help us get over the loss of our beloved dog Jet.

I cannot express how disgusted I am with Pet Doctors (and Beechwood as they are now under the same management). My 3 year old boy (cat) was registered with Beechwood but had all his treatment with Pet Doctors.
They charged me £800 for x-rays and blood tests (apparently ultrasounds too but funnily enough, they do not keep those on file so cannot send me proof of them), for them to tell me he had pancreatitis, when he got no better only a couple of weeks later, they made me put him through another lot of x-rays and bloods (again, apparently ultrasounds too, and this time, testing for infectious diseases, which should have been done the first time), so another £800 to then tell me he had looped intestines and maybe not pancreatitis. The vet then proceeded to tell me she never looked at his notes or previous results of x rays or bloods when I challenged why this was never picked up in the beginning.
I have been waiting a total of 9 days for blood test results, and my poor boy has literally died in the process of waiting. He suffered so much during this what ended up being, 2 month process. And I am absolutely heartbroken. The vets told me they had different vets in daily, new managers and no one communicates with each other. I am in bits because of your poor care. I have spoken to multiple other veterinary practises who are also disgusted at how we have been treated and agree I should fight paying all the costs involved. I STILL have not heard from Pet Doctors regarding his results or regarding my complaint which i sent 4 days ago. You are vile.
