Amazing and friendly staff members, and they have massively improved on their natural small animals products!
The only issue I have with pets at home is the fact that if the CEO insists on selling animals (which I wish he didn’t) then he needs to care better for his animals. The rabbits need water bowls not bottles, as the bottles will cause severe dehydration in rabbits especially during this hot summer.
The cages for their rats, hamsters and gerbils are wayyy too small!
I understand that the cages are not those animals permanent homes and usually get sold to bigger homes, but your stores are big enough to accommodate for a bit more space for them whilst they are in your care - as it encourages poor care from your customers.
You need to stop selling hutches! Especially to rabbit and Guinea pig owners, and the cages you sell for hamsters, rats and gerbils are outdated and cause severe distress on these animals.
I also hate the fact that dogs are allowed to come in and drool over the small animals in their cages whilst barking super loud - I think if you are going to sell small animals they need to be in a location where dogs aren’t allowed to go.
I also think you need a complete refresh on your rabbit and hamster welfare knowledge as the info I have received from staff and heard them passing out to customers is very outdated information and can cause health and safety risks to the animals when they are taken into their new homes - which I do not blame the staff for as they would just be following the outdated training their have received on small animal care.
The small animals you sell deserve better!
