  Had to visit Charter Veterinary Centre in Ilfracombe today. We were on holiday and our dog took ill. I rang them, explained what the problem was. We got seen within 2 hours of my phone call. The reception staff were fantastic, explained what information they needed, nothing was an issue. I contacted my local vet in Newcastle upon Tyne who the forwarded on all my pets medical history to make things even easier. The vet was excellent, she explained everything in detail and at length, and also gave us the reassurance that we could contact them 24/7. I wouldn't hesitate in using there services again if I was concerned about my pet and in the region. Andy, Lesley & Riley the dog.

  Whilst on holiday in the area, our dog developed an ear problem. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. He was seen quickly and we were given options for treatment, which were well explained. Couldn't fault the service, would recommend.

  Our dog decided to help himself to a corn on the cob while we were on holiday in the area. They were really helpful and we got an appointment immediately, the receptionists were lovely. Much more helpful than our own vets.

  Excellent, they saw my little Jack Russell at short notice. Vet was really kind and reassuring. Could've charged for all sorts of unnecessary x-rays and scans, but just gave a thorough examination and an injection. I wish all vets were like this, rather than the money grabbing town vets I've had to use previously. Thanks
