I’ve taken 2 wild birds at different times, I’m grateful there’s somewhere that can help when wild animals are in distress.

Absolutely disgusted with every experience I’ve had with st David’s vets from our frenchie being a puppy. they messed up her vaccines so she had to have them all twice and whilst getting these done tried to scare us into booking a operation she didn’t need saying she needed an operation on her nose to be able to breath better she has never had any issues breathing. Yesterday I brought her in due to her back causing her pain due to playing to rough with my parents frenchie when brought in they told me it was a trapped nerve and for her to have crate rest for 2 weeks and painkillers and anti inflammatory medication I had to ask the vet for an injection to help the pain quicker and they have put it on her notes that it’s early IVDD due to her being a frenchie she was showing no signs of IVDD no limping no dragging her back legs or no issues walking now due to this being on her file we are unable to take out insurance on her as no one will cover her with this on her file even though the vet told me to take out insurance on her make that make sense absolutely disgusted with the service from start to finish and the lady at reception is blunt and rude when you call I believe they’re just trying to get as much money out of you as possible and would not recommend frenchie owners to go to this vets!!!

The staff are extremely rude and like to try and talk to you like a child, being passed around to talk to everyone and then they just hung up on me after. This happened to my partners previous visit the day before when our pup wasn’t very well and because she is a frechball dog they like to put them all in the same category and have put on her file that she has a serous issue when she has just pulled her back (even had it check with another vet)!!
When we first got our pup almost 2 years ago they tried to sell us a surgery that we later found out wasn’t needed and unfortunately it’s all about the money. Vets should be here to look after the animals not make money from them.
Also to add they messed up her first set of injections as well so she had to have double the amount.

This is how they treat a senior dog with a twisted stomach GDV and bloat. She also has arthritis which they know as this is her regular vets. They put her on a dirty floor on a blanket that was thin and dirty. If you read what GDV and bloat is it is the most painful thing to have. . I was told her prognosis in the reception with dogs coming in and out to get weighed rather than a private space. She ended up having to be put to sleep. They dragged her in on the floor in a room so small when you opened the door her head was getting banged. when they carried her into the room she was on a single blanket getting carried by 2 people. not on a supportive gurney. Why the floor why not the table at least. My poor parents couldn't bend down as they are elderly to say goodbye No empathy. Then when asked if could see her later when the tube was out of her nose it was a blank no. They also billed me for a cremation and delivery when I had sourced my own crematorium not one that is part of the cvs group. They didn't know that she had all ready been collected 2 days prior. The gentleman that I used for the crematorium had more empathy and respect for my girl than these people.
