I went to move him off my lap and he bit me. You were just amazing with a difficult patient and gave him a very thorough MOT. The eyesight loss was expected but I was unaware of his joint pain in his back legs. Its a month trial of the painkillers but from both of us I'd like to say thankyou and thankyou again ! His eyesight loss is a confidence thing we can work on but the painkillers have had an immediate effect. Walkies are very much back on ! Hes not being annoyed by me moving him anymore and does plead for tummy tickles, leg stretches, chin rubs and its something ive added is poking his belly and saying "you're a good weight buddy" Thankyou so much for being amazing, asking so many questions and offering a solution. You're a superstar Nicola thankyou 😊

- RKRachel KitchenerMay 13, 20265.0The team at Argyll Vets are sensational. Our elderly diabetic dog Sammy required special care and monitoring. In her last chapter of life it was touch-and-go at times, with overnight stays requiring fluids and life saving treatments. Dr. Pamela Newman oversaw Sammy's treatment with great care, attention, and compassion. Thankfully, there was terrific coordination with the overnight Vets at the nearby Charter Vets. We always felt Sammy was in good hands. Importantly, we felt 'listened to' and guided with practical information and compassion in equal doses. And when it was time to say good-bye to our beloved Sammy Dr. Newman and all the staff were incredibly sensitive, flexible, and helpful at a time when we needed it the most.
