- RKRachel KitchenerMay 13, 20265.0The team at Argyll Vets are sensational. Our elderly diabetic dog Sammy required special care and monitoring. In her last chapter of life it was touch-and-go at times, with overnight stays requiring fluids and life saving treatments. Dr. Pamela Newman oversaw Sammy's treatment with great care, attention, and compassion. Thankfully, there was terrific coordination with the overnight Vets at the nearby Charter Vets. We always felt Sammy was in good hands. Importantly, we felt 'listened to' and guided with practical information and compassion in equal doses. And when it was time to say good-bye to our beloved Sammy Dr. Newman and all the staff were incredibly sensitive, flexible, and helpful at a time when we needed it the most.
