My little kitty tinker became unwell late Friday evening, I called ambivet and they seen her instantly out of hours emergency. Unfortunately, my kitty had to be put to sleep. You were so kind and compassionate, helpful and considerate. Im still completely heartbroken, but the way you treated me and the compassion and care for my cat was outstanding. Thank you for the beautiful sympathy card I recieved also just courtesy. Im beyond grateful 🙏

My gorgeous boy Dusty was taken to Ambivet Heanor in June suffering from feline idiopathic cystitis. It was touch and go whether or not he would survive the episode. The service offered by everyone at the Heanor practise was exemplary even to the point he is now a bit of a celebrity after appearing on their FB website. It has been a long process but he is now on the final days of his medication and is getting back to his mischievous self.
Thank you so much to you all for your compassion and patience as he wouldn't be here without the quality of care you have given him ❤️

On the last 2 occasions I've Took my dog for treatment they've messed up on my appointment times. The first time I checked in and was waiting for over an hour before the receptionist realised they'd forgotten about me. Apologised and refunded my consultation fee. A nice gesture for their mistake. Went 2nd time at 11 am.was told by the receptionist they was running approximately 30 minutes late and I could re book if that was an inconvenience. Told her that would be fine. Ended up waiting 1 and half hours after. Had to cancel a family lunch appointment because of this. Complained about this and suggested they should cancel the consultation fee again. Was refused . The receptionist told me I should have cancelled and re booked when given the chance. Which i would off if she'd actually given me the true waiting time. Plus they were seeing other pet's before me even though they came in after me. Seemed like they made me wait. On the plus side the vet was very pleasant and excellent with my pet.
