Visited the store today to buy my dogs food. Had a browse of the cooling products and treats. Noticed mouse droppings throughout the store. Including in amongst the dog treats. On multiple different shelves. It’s disgusting. You could be buying products that mice have gotten into and possibly defecated in, chancing illness for your pets. I mentioned this roughly 6 months ago and the issue is still on going… not good

I went in at 7:15pm, 15 minutes before they close to get a pet hamster. Both of the employees said no as it was ‘too late’ to buy a hamster. I went to Penrith pets at home at 7:50pm, 10 minutes before they close and they sold me the hamster within 5 minutes. The lack of respect and time is disgraceful. Understandable if they were about to close but there were 15 minutes left. Ridiculous.

Went in to the Carlisle store over the weekend and a lovely employee called Faye (i think this is how it spelt) was super helpful. My goal was to find some new dog food for my 10 month old puppy. He has been on some basic kibble for a while and wanted an upgrade. Even though Faye owns cats not dogs, she was super knowledgeable about what was available for dogs, and recommended three brands that best fitted the needs for my puppy and would suit the transition by either having the same protein or grain. Searching for pet foods can be really overwhelming as there’s so much out there but she made it so much easier and stress-free. She even gave advice on how to transition into the new pet food without upset pups tum. Thanks again Faye
