MiNightVet Chester is a small animal out of hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats, birds, exotics, poultry and small mammals. We are based in Chester providing emergency overnight and weekend care to clients.
Our service is also available to clients from other practices who have arranged this.
The MiNightVet team provide a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.

- JWJonathan WilliamsJul 22, 20261.0Avoid at all costs, from phone call to say come and say goodbye to your dog only, then 5 mins later calling to say wrong dog. Customer service is really bad and not compassionate in anyway.

Didn’t get the vets name but he was lovely. If he reads this he seen to Merlo. Thank you to all for putting our minds at rest. ☺️
- DDDrJNMay 19, 20261.0A week ago my dog, Indie, injured her eye. I was very worried about her and didn't want to wait until the next morning, so I arranged an emergency appointment with MiNightVet. The staff, and their quick response and kindness, do deserve 5 stars. However, what matters most to me is the actual diagnosis and treatment received. The lovely young vet I saw completely missed the long scratch at the base of Indie’s eye, which was identified when I took her afterwards to my usual vets. The scratch has caused a deep ulcer and my dog is clearly in pain with it. She has now had to have an emergency referral to specialist eye vets in Warrington. Something that could most likely have been prevented had the scratch/ulcer been spotted and treated appropriately. And being charged £336.75 for a pointless appointment and false reassurance just adds insult to injury.
